The efficiency and capacity of its 4 powder coating systems—2 vertical and 2 horizontal—allow for high-quality finishes on aluminum profiles, accessories, and extrusions of any shape or size.
The polyester powder coating used is non-toxic, QUALICOAT-certified, and suitable for both outdoor and indoor applications. It includes the full range of RAL colors, with over 400 finishes available, plus the possibility of custom and made-to-order finishes.
With a daily turnover of over 35 finishes, GEAL S.p.A. ensures high quality and fast delivery times.
Powder Coating Process with HPQ® Treatment
The HPQ® protocol developed by GEAL S.p.A. is an advanced treatment for aluminum profiles intended for high-corrosion environments such as marine, industrial, or high-traffic areas. This specific pre-anodizing treatment offers outstanding resistance to filiform corrosion and prepares profiles for the subsequent coating phase.
To achieve the highest level of protection and effectiveness, the HPQ® treatment must be completed in a coating plant that complies with the most stringent QUALICOAT standards.
Thanks to its strict parameters, the HPQ® protocol raises the performance of aluminum window and door systems to the level of the most durable materials—even under the most extreme environmental conditions.
Powder Coating Process with SEASIDE Treatment
To combat the typical challenges experienced with aluminum profiles and products in demanding environments—such as coastal, industrial, or urban areas—QUALICOAT defines a specific pre-treatment that resembles the standard process but features a more aggressive surface cleaning.
To cope with high concentrations of chlorides and salts typical of coastal regions, as well as harmful industrial and urban pollutants, the SEASIDE pre-treatment requires double the aluminum removal per square meter before coating: from the standard 1.0 g/m² to 2.0 g/m².
When combined with high-quality aluminum alloys and proper care during assembly and installation, the SEASIDE pre-treatment helps extend the lifespan of aluminum products by protecting them against the hostile elements typical of these environments.
