Aluminum Profile Coating

The process of coating aluminum profiles by GEAL S.p.A. with real wood veneer or high-pressure layered wood represents a unique solution that combines the elegance of natural wood with aluminum technology.
This finish stands out for the sustainable and certified origin of the materials (FSC or OLB), ensuring an environmentally responsible supply chain.

The dyes used are water-based and free of heavy metals, allowing for natural and eco-friendly shades that enhance every detail of the wood grain.
The coating of aluminum profiles is flexible and ideal for softforming, enabling precise coverage of curved profiles. The result is high-quality semi-finished products suitable for the most complex design requirements, capable of integrating into both natural and modern environments.

The coating with synthetic acrylic films gives life to products of high aesthetic value — a technology designed to faithfully replicate the look and texture of natural wood. Through a high-precision photographic process, wood grains are reproduced with great accuracy, resulting in finishes with an exceptionally realistic effect. To further enhance the visual and tactile experience, some variants feature a glossy or matte embossed surface that mimics the feel of real wood.

The acrylic film, with a thickness of 200 microns, is produced through calendering of a pre-plasticized mass, while the outer layer in polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) ensures excellent resistance to weathering, UV rays, and long-term wear. This film is engineered to maintain its physical and mechanical properties even under high temperatures, up to 80–100 °C, offering a perfect blend of durability and aesthetic quality.
